Hashi was born before the villages existed. The clans were at war. Her father, leader of the Senju-Clan, raised his four children as shinobi, making them capable to fight and survive battle against the rival Uchiha-Clan. As a member of the Senju-Clan, Hashi inherited the Mokuton, a Kekkei-Genkai that made her able to control wood. Two of Hashi's brothers died young, and she and her remaining brother Tobirama agreed that the wars had to end in order to prevent more children from dying.
During her childhood, Hashi met a boy, Madara, at a river and they became friends and rivals, not knowing each other's family name. They imagined worlds without battles and where their brothers would be safe. When they discovered their identities, Hashi did not follow her duty to kill Madara since she still considered him a friend. Madara, however, casted their dreams aside, saying this future would be impossible, and ended their friendship. As a young woman, Hashi became the new leader of her Clan and met her childhood friend Madara on the battlefield – as new leader of the Uchiha-Clan. Hashi never even tried to kill Madara while Madara could never compete with Hashi's skill. When one battle ended having Madara and his – by Tobirama's hands - mortally wounded brother Izuna at the Senju's mercy, Hashi tried to convince Madara of a peaceful future, but Izuna persuaded Madara not to agree. However, the battles continued to end in the Senju's favor, and Madara – now the only remaining son of the former Uchiha-leader – was again cornered and Hashi repeated her offer. Madara asked Hashi if she would kill herself for peace. Seeing that she indeed would, Madara finally assented to peace. Both Clans build the first village, Konohagakure, where all shinobi should be able to live in peace, and other nations followed their example |
Character: ❖ - boisterous - ❖ ❖ - headstrong - ❖ ❖ - optimistic - ❖ ❖ - pacifist - ❖ Hashi originally wished for Madara to become the village's leader, but her brother Tobirama insisted that all villagers should vote – and Hashi was elected. Hashi would have liked to have Madara as advisor, but her friend saw the Uchiha's position faltering and denied, leaving the village with the promise to battle Hashi when he'd return. And Madara did return, battleing against Hashi. She desperately tried to reason with him, but had to realize he would not listen. Hashi saw no chance of peace for the village with Madara alive and bitterly lusting for the village's destruction, so she reluctantly killed him. At least, she thought that he was dead. Hashi worked hard to maintain the peace they achieved in the years after, but it became clear how fragile it was. Although the village flourished, hatred still lingered throughout the nations, and Hashi feared it would consume the village, too. When she died, she named her brother the new leader, and made him promise to never mistreat the Uchiha. |
