A fallen star, cold as ice, some foreseen portent. He does not speak much, and the stars in his skin glitter and mingle beneath the icy mists that waft off him. Their pattern is reminiscent of the stars in the heavens that Amaari has watched in silence for so long. The two seem to understand each other, as if they knew of this meeting from long, long ago but what it foretells neither will share.

For now, they hold each other’s company in understanding silence beneath the distant cold glittering of the stars- a bated breath; a promise almost fulfilled.

Only time will tell.
