Aloe

Deep below the cavern that holds The Spire and all its residents, there is said to be a tiny door lit by the earthy runes that surround its frame.
Beyond the door, they say, is yet another door; beyond that, two more doors... then three... then four... then more.
A labyrinth -- one that is only solvable by someone it trusts. A living labyrinth, one that must be maintained.
Who maintains what is beyond the doors?
The keeper of the labyrinth. Aloe whispers... it is a garden that the labyrinth leads him to, but not a garden for all. A garden for him is darkness for some. The labyrinth must be entered with a clear mind and a lonesome heart.

Aloe has lived apart from his clan mates while time passes in ways he does not understand. Days in the labyrinth may only be minutes beyond the door. He hardly leaves, and he does not need to, the labyrinth has all he wants.
The garden needs him, the garden wants him, the garden loves him.
