It's cold in the world of ice, but Sven doesn't mind. The Snapper enjoys snow and often plows through it with no concern. Sven is a hearty, caring individual- traits he no doubt gets from his mother. Despite this, he is extremely strong like his father- he's not just a guy who digs holes. Sven's large size and durable body make him the clan battering ram due to his approachable nature- Cass will use him to charge in, unless Aegis is available.

Sven is the son of a match between Aegis and Neirra, both of which were not the greatest of parents. One was a stoic warrior, and the other was a worn out traveler who had to guard the food. As a result, Sven was raised by almost every dragon in the Clan. While one could expect the Snapper to be bitter, the opposite became reality. Sven viewed the entire Clan as his closest family, and held no malice towards Neirra and Aegis- they had done what they thought was best for him, and he appreciated it. In response, Sven promised that he would grow strong and be a son they could be proud of...he would be the best Clan Member he could be.

He loved the snow the moment he saw it. Sven would play in the snow for hours, often digging holes rather than patrolling or training. This made him a bit of a problem for the Clan. He was enthusiastic and strong, but his ideas of what was important were...interesting. Sven was very anti-violence, and while he was useful to break down doors, he disliked hurting other dragons. He preferred to diffuse tension with talking. Whenever he was forced to fight, Sven would grow very melancholy after battles and dig holes to calm down, taking comfort in the snow. On one such day, he was shocked to find he had dug up a chest of treasure. Taking the frozen wooden case back to his Clan, Sven was surprised along with the others to find it full of old treasure.

Hallow saw an opportunity. As long as Sven would agree to fight when they ABSOLUTELY NEEDED HIM, he would let the Snapper dig to his heart's content. Sven happily agreed and resumed his digging. Over time, dragons would come and join him, some leaving while others stayed. Sven soon decided to make his fellow diggers an officially recognized group. After discussing with Hallow, Sven began to lead a group known as the Diggers. Their goal was to find as much treasure and goods as possible underground.

Sven has grown happy and comfortable in his lifestyle, knowing that his battles in the future are few and far between. While he is willing to defend his Clan to his last breath, the fact that he can also live a simple, peaceful life of digging holes makes Sven one of the most joyful dragons in the Clan.

Sven is loved and loves all. The only one who gets flustered with him is Neon, who has to clean up the mud he tracks.

Sven was left behind in the Bringer War to defend hatchlings and weaker dragons in the Clan Lair. He was overjoyed to find the dragons who went to fought had returned safely.
