History
With a long ancestry of warriors and fighters, Akali was always destined to be a knight. It was in her blood.
Though she didn't know it at first, and got herself into plenty of unnecessary fights, after meeting Kain, she was set right. He taught her to have a purpose for her fights, and how to pick them wisely.
Her best friend, Aisha, helped teach her to be kind. Even if only towards your friends.
Akali feels she owes her clan-mates each and every day for teaching her how to be kinder, more compassionate, and wise. It wasn't that she didn't have a natural sense of empathy and compassion, it was just that she didn't know how to work with it, or who she could trust with it.
As of her current life, she'd be very happy to say that she has many friends and family within her clan for her to protect, and use her new-found knowledge on.
