DarkPetal walked trough the cold night. He was exiled from his group and thus lost his home. He is on the search of a new one. Days go by with no sign of other dragons only beastclans. On the 36th day of his adventure he finds a green Imperial gathering herbs. He greets her she jumps up in shock but is quick to calm down. He asks where her home is and which group she belongs to. She does not tell him but asks him to follow her. On the way she tells him her name is Galia. Galia leads DarkPetal underground and into a small purple hut, in which he meets a coatl named ShadowRose who is the clans Fortune Teller. ShadowRose asks them to sit down and they do after Galia goes to make some tea. During that time ShadowRose tells DarkPetal about the many wars they have won and how she always predicted it. DarkPetal was amazed by the Coatl. After Galia came back they drank the tea and the two clan members started telling stories. DarkPetal joined the clan that same day.

He moved into a small area in the caves which he made his home. He often went to visit ShadowRose and Galia. They became good friends and DarkPetal got along with everyone else. Two days later Midna and Aqua showed their face to the newbie for the first time. Midna assigned him the role of spy which ShadowRose later confirmed was a good idea. DarkPetal soon experienced his first war which was won just as ShadowRose predicted. Not so long after he fell in love with ShadowRose and they became mates. They later had a lot of children many of which left the clan but those who stayed learned a lot from ShadowRose. ShadowRose also teached DarkPetal about her magic. DarkPetal was assigned to have a nest with Aria for one time only and he did not want to but ShadowRose told him it was fine thus Amerian was born.

After he learned from ShadowRose he was teached about the Feather Tribe by Topaz. He had his first encounter with them not much later since he met Bassin and Fluorite during his first solo hunt. They remained far away from each other but DarkPetal entered their territory by accident and Fluorite immediately attacked him biting his wings and neck he fled quickly leaving most of the meat behind. He later learned to not be afraid of them and to just stay out of their territoy and so he did. He now spends his days with ShadowRose his children except Amerian who he does not talk to since she and DarkPetal were told not to get to close since it could cause conflict between the clan and others if it was exposed Amerian was DarkPetals daughter. Since she does not know the same magic all his other offspring with ShadowRose do its easy to hide the fact. So its just said that Aria adopted Amerian. He also spends time with his familiar and doing his spy duties.
