Forest Walk
Two coatls were making their way through the forest, carefully following the path. The first coatl walked elegantly and slowly, while the second walked steadily and confidently. The second coatl often had to slow down her pace to stay beside Bones, but never made a comment about that, although you could see on her face that she really wanted to do so. The only thing stopping her from complaining was the fact that she knew that her mother was raised to walk this way. She often heard stories of her grandparents, their ranks and reputation are all that mattered to them in life. From the very start, Bones was raised to be a royal.Ultima bounced to the bushes, carefully picking up and stashing a pile of bones in the bag. She turned to see her mother waiting for her on the path, with a soft motherly smile. "I noticed this one first this time," Ultima said in a slightly mocking but soft voice. Her mother nodded as the coatls started to follow the path once more. "I still don't understand why you are okay with my obsession." Bones said calmly. "It's just not the weirdest that I have heard of, what's wrong with hiding a few bones in your closet?" Ultima replied jokingly, her mother struggled to keep in a giggle. A few silent minutes have passed before Ultima found yet another bone. "Oh look, a birds skull, I haven't seen those in a while, have you?" "No, you are right." Bones replied quickly. Ultima walked to her mother with the skull carefully resting in her palm. She handed it over to her mother, Bones held it for a moment before placing it on Ultima's cape and tying it. "It looks better on you rather than a shelf." her mother's smile was melting her heart, it was hard to think that she could have shared her mother's love with someone else. |
