REAPER Prince of Plagues / Warrior of the Tangled Wood Mate of Selif Permanent/Temporary 
DESCRIPTION From the Shadows… “Come on baby, don’t fear the reaper.” No one really knows exactly where this dragon came from. Obviously everyone knows about the Webwings and the Bumbles, but other than the fairly obvious that he was hatched somewhere nobody really knows where he came from. When he first arrived in the Tangled Wood as a hatchling, the other little ones would spread whispered rumors about how he was really a dead dragon brought back to life. Others say he was a demon in dragon form. His adopted parents? They just say he’s cute. Left: Reaper's favorite outfit. |

DESCRIPTION CONTINUED
Found wandering terrified and alone in the Foxfire Bramble as a hatchling, Reaper was found by none other than Titania and Carynox. And as much as he proclaims to be a big tough dragon now! At the moment of his discovery, he was cowering in the furthest corner of a brush pile he could find. Covered from head to toe in scratches, cuts, and bruises. Titania immediately went into full mothering mode while Carynox attempted to keep her quiet while he coaxed the tiny one out of his hiding spot. Thankfully it didn’t take long for Reaper to understand he wasn’t going to be eaten and came out of the brush pile. Shaken but alright, he managed to peep out that he was from the Scarred Wasteland. A tiny plague dragon with no one to call family and no place to call home. Until now. |

Despite what the children said, it didn’t phase Reaper in the slightest that he looked like something out of a horror story. Learning very quickly from his Uncle Rhum, that some of the lady dragons thought the skeletal look was mighty fine indeed. In fact, there were days when he swore he caught some of the other boys staring at his markings and he didn’t mind that in the slightest. When he finally matured well… lets just say the boys got there first, and many a day was spent in the company of none other than Zagerus the Falcon King.

As far as dragons are concerned, sexuality isn’t a huge deal for them. But, when it came to Reaper and Zagerus’ relationship, as wonderous and lovely as it was, it still had its ups and downs. Reaper wanted a family one day and Zagerus wasn’t very fond of the idea of settling down. And as much as they tried to work things out, they couldn’t fix it. So while they still do care very deeply for the other, and always will, they realized very quickly it just wasn’t going to work and went their separate ways.

Leaving Zagerus was one of the hardest things Reaper had to do in his entire life, even after traveling from the Scarred Wasteland all the way to the Tangled Wood as a hatchling had nothing on this. Heartbroken he spent most of his time alone in the Wispwillow Grove admiring the glowing mushrooms. One day while lounging on a boulder by a small pond he saw something out in the mist. Raising his head he tried to get a better look and to this day he swears he saw the most beautiful being ever to grace the Tangled Wood with their presence. She looked like a Ghost and moved without sound, as if she were nothing but a vision graced to him by the Shadowbinder herself. |
As soon as he ran towards her however, she disappeared into the fog. From that day forward he swore he would find her and when he does she will be his and his alone. Little does he know, he’s already met her, she was just having a bit of fun projecting what her mature self would look like out in the mists. One day they’ll both realize just what fate and the Shadowbinder have in store for them. But until that time, Reaper will continue to look for her and Selif will continue to practice her magic.
