Using magical techniques by drawing from his arcane energy, Mercury became a talented and entertaining metal forger in the Ashfall Waste. He specialises in magic-infused weapons and jewelry, and sometimes toys for hatchlings. However, Mercury wasn't always honest about the sources of his materials. Growing up with very little, he often stole from other dragons, thieving precious metals and gems for the weapons he would make and sell to outlaws and the upper class. It wasn't until a customer recognised one of the stolen items that Mercury was caught.

Awaiting trial, Mercury escaped from imprisonment and fled the Ashfall Waste. He travelled around for a while, barely scraping by through stealing and conning, before he met who would be his best friend, Khanon. The two started working together to survive, and being around Khanon even helped reform Mercury (just a little).

Mercury helps Khanon run the Metallurgy Society in the Blacklight District where inventors from all over Sornieth can workshop ideas to advance technology in rural areas like the Abiding Boneyard. Mercury also sells his art and weapons during the annual Summer Art Conventions held in the Blacklight District.

He's probably the most metal dragon you'll ever meet.
