Tiamat

It was a stormy cold day when Tiamat opened her eyes for the first time to the world. The inside of the egg looked like a better place to live, but the space was scarce. After realizing that the egg shell was broken beyond possible repair and that half of her body was already out, she lift her head up and saw those two strange deep blue eyed figures standing up in front of her.

-Is it OK dear? a strange voice mumbled
-Yeah, it's breathing now sweethart! Welcome to the world my child.

A big emerald dragon was grabbing her now. He was so gentle and sweet with her.

-Let me see it sweetie.

A strange azure lady was now looking at her.

-OMG, she's a girl! and what a beautiful girl. said a soft sweet voice, the same that seemed worried a few minutes ago.

They proceed to put her on the sand along with 2 other baby dragons. They also looked as newborns and oddly similar to her in some strange way.

-OK hun, it's time to send someone to tell them they are now here so they can come to see them. said the emerald dragon
-Yes, I think you are right said the other dragon while looking at her new offspring.

The day passed on with many new amazing things happening. The little dragon learned that those strange feathered dragons with deep blue eyes were not only her parents but the rulers of their own clan, a clan that lived under the reign of the Tidelord. She also learned that those two oddly similar beings were in fact her sibilings, two awesome player buddies.

But everything was about to change.

With the sunrise of the second day of her life, another strange looking feathered teal dragon arrived to the lair. He presented himself as a messenger of another clan who happened to send him after the news of a new delivery.

The little dragon then sees how her parents and the stranger came closer to where she and her sibilings were.

One of the other babies tried to hide behind some rocks over the sand, the other jumped into the water and started to try to apply the swimming lessons they were taught. The little girl just stood there looking at the stranger into the eyes.

-Mmm....I think we find our new addition. She looks brave and fierce, just like a dragon must behave if they want to live in the Plaguebringer's kingdom.

He then proceed to grab her and put her over his back.

The leaders knew about their promise, but were a little reluctant to him handling her new baby. Then they recognize a familiar smell.

- I think I forgotten to tell you something...Leviathan is my mate. She sent me to do this because she's currently training another army of fishers for our lair. She wanted me to give you this too. - said while handing them out a small envelope with a few strange stains over it.

The dragons open the envelop and started reading while little smiles started to appear in their faces.

- Thank you young gentlemen, please keep taking care of our small girls. - Said the emerald male while his mate was starting to shed some tears.

- I'll do sir, I promise you that. Said the stranger while bowing at them before start flying.

She noticed his parents waving at her while having sad faces. - why are they sad, did I do something wrong?- the little one thought.

The travel was not long, but the baby was tired and slept trough all of it. She woke up in a strange looking land, with dead trees and rotten things in small piles here and there.

- We are here guys! said the teal stranger while taking her down from his back and putting her back on the ground. On that nasty gross ground that looked nothing like the beautiful sand she managed to love the other day.

A massive bunch of strangers started to sorround them. They had different sizes, forms, voices and eyes and skin colors of several shades she never saw before. But then the crowd started to separate and she noticed another feathered dragon was standing there looking at her.

The dragon had the exact same skin color than her, but her wings were a little darker. She didn't have any genes, but her deep blue eyes looked somehow famliar. The teal "messenger" came over to her side and whispered a few things to her ear. She smiled. It was the same sweet tender smile her mother had when she was born and while reading that strange letter. Was something wrong in here?

- You my sweetheart were sent here to live with me. I'm Leviathan, your sister, a water dragon, daughter of the rulers of an amazing water clan.

I remember it was really hard for them to let me go to this strange land, after all we are now sorrounded by diseases and death. What they would had never imagined was that I would have been the only one to survive from their first clutches given how I used to look back then. When they discovered this they feel sad and didn't wanted me to feel alone, so they offered me to welcome one of my sibilings in my clan forever to finally have some water dragon to share with.

And that's why you are and will always be here, with me.

She stopped talking to pet her head softly while looking at her eyes. They both stared at each other for a couple of minutes.

- I think we need to find a name for you now. A strong name that shows what are you capable of and at the same time shows were we come from...what about "Tiamat", as the chaos monster, ruler of the seas?

The little one stood proudly and open her mouth for the first time to say something.

- I like it, I will be Tiamat and act accordingly to the name.

That day was the beggining of a new start for that cute and small seafoam hatchling.
