Wrath

...Child of the servants of the LightWeaver, one would expect Wrath to be a bringer of all things bright and good. Which for a time, he was. He was betrothed to a princess of the neighboring clan, she was beautiful, but not the one to whom his heart belonged.

...His love lay with a Mirror female, a loner, one without a pack or clan. She was his light, and stealer of his affection. Wrath had met her one evening as a ten to fifteen member pack of mirrors who served the Storm sprinted across his land. One was left behind in their mad dash for prey. It was a small female just bearly an adult, she had a limp, her left rear leg was pulled up tight to her body. It was badly damaged. Wrath came to her, quietly, and without words he swept her off her feet and took her to safety. Any Mirror in it's right mind would have fought back, but her wound was grave, she had lost a lot of blood. Wrath took her to the old temple, one where no one visited anymore, and bandaged her wounds. Both of her hind limbs had been damage. Her left more so than the right. Wrath fed her, and brought her water. He soon learned that her name was Andromeda. A fitting name, as the stars glittered across her blue skin, and her beautiful blue eyes that nearly glowed.

...The temple quickly became a second home to the dark, shadowy Imperial. Their love bloomed, and days before the arranged mating between Wrath, and the light female, Andromeda asked him to leave with her. Oh how he wanted to leave with her. His tiny star queen he called her. Wrath took her up in his arms, holding her, nuzzling against her. He was afraid to ask her to fly, let alone run, she could just bearly walk. "I will carry you, my sweet. I will take you away with me to a place we can be together." He knew that if his family were to find out about the female, she would be killed.

...They would have had to move slowly, as she could not fly long distances, and nor could she run, she could only walk. Wrath himself carried her, across his strong shoulders and powerful back. Together, they abandon the land of light, and made a new home in the Emberglow Hearth.
