Being influenced heavily by his element of origin, Cupido interprets love as a type of disease he can investigate. He experiments with possible ways to spread and influence it. Sometimes he asks others to be his test subjects, but usually they become part of his experiments without their knowledge.

Cupido likes to claim that all his experiments are for science, but some residents of the Thonis Atoll suspect that he's a closet romantic and likes seeing dragons fall in love with each other. He secretly hopes to contract this puzzling disease himself one day.
