"Tanaquill entered the clan as an assassin for hire. The clan leader, Andromache, saw the potential for the Pearlcatcher to be trained to fight the Shade instead of other dragons. She studied under the clan's battle trainer to learn the differences of fighting the Shade and Shade infested creatures. In an effort to leave her past life behind, she opted to use magical scrolls to change her appearance to match her birthland. Tanaquill still prefers stealth to brute force, but is a formidable opponent to any who challenge her."

"She's cryptic, pretty no-nonsense. Been through too many fights/dealt with too much loss to bother pretending to be pleasant. She definitely still likes dressing up, though, and is a tiny bit vain. Anything aloof/vaguely disgusted with dragonkind in general would be appropriate for an expression."
