Personality

Yawn is quite an interesting piece of work. Scrappy and hardheaded being the most prominent and perhaps the most irritating personality traits she has. More than willing to dispute something she doesn't agree with you on or just for the sake of being annoying at times. Unlike most others with a similar stubbornness, Yawn acknowledges when she's wrong.

Not that she enjoys doing such, but it gives her a chance to fix where she was wrong and then some. Ready to be the right one the next time around. This young Noc is quite smart, as one needs to be when dealing with ever improving technology, however, she isn't so smart when it comes to life itself. Often on the wrong end of her decisions, no matter how hard she tries to make the right one. Adding to a laundry lists of her frustrations.

The most concerning, is Yawn's heritage. Her family being a bunch of inbred and or deranged individuals who honestly believe they've inherited some sort of higher power. It's all thanks to Naomi specifically and Yawn thinks it's historically pathetic. Ridiculing her bloodline every chance she gets. However, this pointed sarcasm is also a cover up for her own fear.

Fear that the rumors of her family are true. That there is something more to all of them, she's seen the tech she works with act strangely because of her. Electricity among other things behaving strangely if she will it. It terrifies her, Yawn is as scared of herself as she is her own family.

Backstory

Even from the day of her birth, there never seemed to be anything abnormal about her family. Her parents were doting and full of reassuring smiles and her siblings were as rambunctious as young kids should be. There wasn't ever an indication that her heritage was anything buy normal. The young dragon never really noticed the disdain in her father's face when dealing with his technologies.

Her parents would always smile lovingly when either her siblings or herself went to them. Yawn never thought it odd how the tv would change channels by itself or how lights and house hold equipment would turn off or on with no one around. As it wasn't unheard of for dragons to be capable of such, if they were particularly skilled with magic. However, she never noticed the spirits moving behind the screen of tv.

The whispers in surges of electricity flowing through every wire, the voices of the unown in ever bit of technology. It wouldn't be a skill she acquired until she was a little older, however he beloved father could tap into all that was currently unknown to his daughter. How some of voices sought to harm his children, they hungered for his young. To Error, this wasn't unusual. His blood made it a norm for him, though he never dare tell his wife or children the true danger they were susceptible to.

Thanks to Yawn's great relative, everyone in their family could tap into realities that no other normal individual could. In return, the inhabitants of the digital realm were able to make their presence known to Naomi and her kin. It were these beings that distilled Yawn's fear of her family in her. The stormy night when one digital phantasm lunged out of the TV as she was watching it by her lonesome.

It grabbed the ankle of her right leg, searing her flesh and causing her to cry out in both fear and pain. Naturally everyone who heard her came running, shocked and startled at the young girl who had blood oozing from her burn mark. Her parents came flying in, pushing past the others to get to their child. Her father briskly cradled her against his chest, trying to ease her panic. Seeing the 3 toed hand burn on her ankle, he himself crying, bawling.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's all my fault, it's all my fault, it's all my fault." Error mumbled the last phrase mutliple times all while his daughter received medical attention. Mystic, let alone everyone else way confused as to how such a thing had happened. More so why Error was destroying himself over it. Admitting to his wife all the abnormality carried by his bloodline. Not that she hadn't figured this beforehand, Mystic was still baffled his family could be so in tuned with the unknown.

Yawn still has the scar from that creatures hand engraved into her to this day. Her father was adamant about making sure his children were more in tuned with their abilities, even if they weren't overly adept. Making sure they were aware of the dangers that came with it, though he left quite a bit out for the sake of them still being young. After what happened and her father making her away of what she and even himself were capable of. Yawn never really looks at any of them the same again, not even herself.

Still loving her parents and siblings, but distancing herself from them and the rest of her deranged family in general. Going so far as to leave her home, seemingly trying to run away from her fears and put them as far behind her as she could. Preferring to avoid avoid her demons for as long as she can, rather than confronting them. Instead teasing them by being just out of reach.
