Notes:
  • Son of Runi and Freyja.
  • Hatched shortly after the start of the Great Elemental Upheaval.
  • First hatchling in the Clan to have markedly strange eyes, and not just a different nuance.
  • What with the Emperor resurgence in conjunction to this, the Imperials were wary and worried when he hatched. They resolved to keep him close and keep a sharp eye out for any worrying signs.
  • And there were worring signs. The eyes on his body changing colour and shape, him knowing things he shouldn’t, being unnaturally mature and always, always knowing where the Emperors were as well as drawing them to himself.
  • The Outpost had to marshal their forces and join the Lightweaver and her forces in eradicating several Emperors, or risk being eliminated.
  • At that time, the Sundial Ruins were reminded of why the Outpost is to be feared. Together, they brought down a 4-headed Emperor before reinforcements could reach them.
  • Turned out that Heimdall simply possesed a mutated version of his mother’s Sight, amplified a hundredfold by the rampant elemental energies surging across Sornieth. He can See through the eyes of any living creature, experiencing the world as they do, but when he did this to Emperors in a bid to find out what everyone was so worried about, and later to aid the Clan in hunting them down, he alerted them to his presence. Sensing the imbalance of his engergies, his mutability and strength, they sought him out in order to absorb him.
  • As he grew older, he learned control and caution and though his parents worried, he joined the Outpost’s Guard in order to protect his Clan with his gift, instead of endangering them with it. Nothing approaches the perimiter without his knowledge.
  • The goggles were a learning tool to help him discern when he was looking out of his own eyes, so that he would stop POV-shifting involuntarily. Then he grew attached to them and dependent on them, and they became a bit too much of a crutch, but as long as no-one takes them off of him or breaks them, everything is just fine. (Don't worry, they have been heavily magically reinforced by now, and it's likely that his skull will break before his goggles do.)
  • Has learnt to fight with a sword in order to avoid skin contact in combat, as that tends to force POV shifts and make him disoriented.
  • While his multigaze consists entirely of Light eyes when his magical gift is dormant, the eyes will shift to look like other dragons' eyes in both form and colour when he is using his magic to see their POVs.
