"Will you come play with me?"

-Alcyone once carried a different name, but took the name of her lake and now her birth name has been lost to time.
-During an extremely long drought, she was drugged and drowned by her own father as a sacrifice for rain. Unfortunately, the weather didn't listen to superstition and the drought continued until spring. By that time, another half of her family had died.
-Died at the age of 14, and hasn't matured either physically or mentally since then. While her worldly experience has increased, her mental maturity will most likely never change. Because of that, she tends to be sorta childish in personality, and enjoys pranking people. These pranks can be...very deadly though.
-Refuses to drown children, and has a sort of soft spot for them. Sometimes even gives them little gifts for them to play with. Has saved several children from almost accidentally drowning in her lake.
-Has a strong dislike for adult men, and will drown any that comes too close. Sometimes she'll eat the body, but she doesn't actually have any hunger. Most times, she lets Whisper have the body.
-She seems indifferent to adult women. She won't make any effort to save them from anything, but she won't try to kill them.
-While she's extremely strong, she has a crippling weakness in the fact that she cannot leave the confines of her lake.
-Despite not being able to leave her lake, she can use her voice to bewitch and change her appearance to appear as a man's ideal woman and use that to hypnotize them into walking into the lake on their own where she'll then drag them under until they drown.
-Hasn't revealed her one weakness to her roommate(?) lakemate(?), Whisper.
-Likes when Whisper combs her hair, and while she won't admit it, sees Whisper as an older sister.
-Has red hair in her true form, and it would be beautiful if she took care of it a little more, as it's usually tangled with all sorts of lake debris.
-Her magic keeps the lake full and thriving, even when it shouldn't.
-Hibernates beneath her lake during winter. During that time, Whisper tends to get even more territorial and aggressive against intruders. Whisper will never admit to worrying about Alcyone though.
