The infamous fortune teller, Rain, is a peculiar being. (No, that is not her real name, and yes, even her actual name is a mystery to us.) Not to mention mysterious. She always has been, and, quite frankly, always will be. She had no apparent family, she never talks about herself, and was an expert at evading questions. She was full of surprises, too—her being able to seemingly disappear and appear out of thin air was just one of them. She speaks in riddles, her words twisting and turning like a vile snake amidst murky waters—leaving her 'clients' confused, but oddly enough, also satisfied. Do not worry, though, for no matter how puzzling the things she say may be, she never lies. The fortunes she speaks of are all the truth—it's up to you whether you want to believe them or not.

She used to travel all around Sornieth, gathering weird-looking trinkets, stories and knowledge from dragons everywhere. She'd be away most of the time, only coming back once in awhile to refill her supplies or to store the knick-knacks that she brings back on those trips of hers. "The world outside is full of wonders and magic." She would say, while taking out one ornament after the next. But that was before she had gotten herself an apprentice. Now, she's become more...tame, more friendly—her words sounding less like an enigma and more....comprehensible. It's a wonder, really. She also gives her apprentice some of the trinkets that she's gathered, and by some I meant most. Nearly all. But no matter how 'tame' she is now, she's still an enormous mystery to the rest of us.

Rain could be found laying underneath the cherry blossom tree—the one that's located a little down south, away from civilization—humming a gentle, familiar tune, or perhaps even practicing her magic. She's usually accompanied by her apprentice Cris, or her familiar. If you happen to stumble upon her when she's alone, however, pay her a visit, won't you? It gets a little lonely sometimes.
