Biography
She scowled as the flowers she was holding turned black and shriveled. She couldn’t touch anything without it rotting and decaying. She didn’t know why she was cursed, or even who she had upset to become like this. A breath on the wind caught her attention. “Come to me child of mine, for the world cannot live without you.” Following without a second thought, she wandered plains of contagion to a bubbling caldera where something different lived. Something old. She stepped to the edge of the pool and breathed deep the fumes. For a moment, nothing happened. Slowly bubbles began forming until the body of a great dragon stretched before her. “My child, you curse the gift I so willingly gave you~ don’t you know how fortunate you are? The gift of life is too commonly given by my sister, but death is a promise, a true end.” Stretching out a claw she passed Corseptus a halo. Wear this with pride child, you decide what fate befalls those around you, if they live or die, the choice is yours.” With a toothy smile that was slightly off putting, the being disappeared back into the pool and Corseptus began traveling home. She didn’t showcase her powers, but those who wronged her eventually had mysterious ailments that were incureable no matter which clan they went to.
