OLD LORE
Clan of the Sunweave Tangle
Glory to the Lightweaver. Scientia potentia est.
A scattered clan of highly individual scholars living in a home grown orchard in the forest just outside the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. The smell of the sea air and fresh-grown fruit is said to stimulate witty conversation. Beyond the orchard is a mysterious maze, rumored to house a powerful magical artifact guarded by Avitus, the progenitor. Wanderers and seekers of truth in any of its many forms are welcome here, so long as more... ambitious research projects are kept quiet. Most of their hatchlings and many visiting scholars are sent to learn in the Lightweaver's vast libraries.

Lair lore:
-A clan mainly composed of individualistic scholars conducting their own experiments, protected by fighters with various goals of their own. Neutral to but accepting of travelers; many dragons come and go with little notice paid to them.
-Located in an orchard of various fruit and olive trees, looking out over the vast plains of Lightweaver's domain. The sea is a quick five minute flight away; the air is saturated with a strong salt scent.
-There is a vast maze to the northeast. It's where many of the clan's exports are grown, but also where many of its secrets are hidden. There is a small gazebo-esque temple at each corner of the maze. Bells hung in them are rung at dawn, noon, dusk and midnight.
-Insular. Thanks to the amount of hunters and fighters, the clan provides for itself. Their main exports are exotic foods, especially plants. Cultivars are sometimes grown and curated in the orchards.
-Most frontlines work as trainers for Lightweaver's army.
-Minimally religious, in spite of that. Followers of Lightweaver out of practicality, living very close to her tower and also being a clan of scholars who would prefer to be blessed by knowledge rather than spited.
-Priests are mostly for show and not generally included in clan decisions.
-Gardeners and Alchemists are especially respected for their ability to increase the wealth of the clan.
-The clan itself is extremely disorganized. Nearly no central organization. Law is occasionally passed down by the Council, communicated by Iovita and Khnum and enforced by the frontline.
-Avitus and the other three members of the raiding party, though highest ranking, don't care about ruling.
-Anyone can come and go. Visitors often settle on the edges of the Clan's territory before moving on to Lightweaver.
-Less...scrupulous experiments are allowed, but strictly kept out of Lightweaver's gaze.
-"Rent" is paid randomly on the Council's request, though it's mainly Avitus' doings. This is one of the few times where a census is conducted and anyone has any idea how many dragons are living within the clan.
-There have been strange happenings and omens lately, but clan business has continued as usual.
