Tiny and often overlooked, he hitched a ride on Skky one day and no one even noticed. After being carried too far into their lair to really get out he showed himself to Stella, much abashed and explained what happened. She thought it was highly amusing and invited him to dinner. Amaretto, who had also been invited to dinner while she was passing through on her Search, found him to be most brave for daring to ride an Imperial without asking. As it became clear that he had no one and was alone, Amaretto finished her Search, deciding that she would travel with him and remain his companion and guard.

Not wanting to overstay their welcome, they prepared to leave. Before they could leave Stella bade them stay, as no one could keep track of their hoard. Captain Morgan had compulsively organized it the night before. Morgan has a bit of OCD and a love of counting. He and Amaretto stayed with the clan and he has been organizing the hoard and keeping the books ever since.
