Skullcap, also known as Juiko, smells strongly of tea, and is always accompanied by a dove who rests on the top of his head. Her name is Avia, and helps him navigate Sornieth. She's very intelligent for a bird, and has been taught to play several card games with Juiko. She has to be, for he is blind and possibly a little bit cursed.

Juiko was discovered newly hatched, covered and choking on the ashes of a ruined clan, by a nature scavenging group led by a friendly tundra alchemist. The orange on his wings was an unheeded sign of the flamecaller's power. Within the care of his future mentor, he learned of tea, herbs, alchemic reactions, how to shuffle a deck and read a tarot.

His days there were long and peaceful, until a travelling scholar by the name of Rofel visited.

"Stogwen Legacy?"

- Was meant to be a warning from the shadowbinder, but was born a week after the eruption.
- frequently has visions and dreams, but always about disasters that have already past. A lot of folks believed his dreams are just easily influenced, until he started having vivid dreams of things he was never even a part of. His tarot readings are also fairly spot on.
- his quirk is that he's always running at least 10 minutes late, sometimes more, he does his best but between his blindness and distractibility it never works out as planned.
