a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. 𝄏 His real name is Haiku. During his childhood he had dreams about marine animals. He felt comfort swimming and exploring amongst the other inhabitants of the ocean. Eventually these dreams made way for prophecies and omens like most Water Flight dreamers, the aimless visions of schooling fishes decreased over times. His parents were relieved, his father was the heir to the clan, and his mother a powerful seer. There was a lot of pressure for him to excel at water magic and the art of prophecy. Deep inside, he harbours strange beliefs that he doesn’t expect others to understand. Still, the animals of the ocean remained important to his self identity and his heart. Multiple times in his dream, he has seen a dragon he had never seen before. Haiku left the clan, against his parent’s wishes to find the dragon. A few nights, he is visited by one of his old dreaming animals from his childhood and they pointed him to a landmark he had to find. In order to survive, he found himself in the debt of other clans who allowed him to rest the night. All over Sornieth he travelled, until his wings ached with pain. This dragon is dedicated to CelestialNarwhal, one of my old FR friends. For lore purposes you can disregard the quote below. If you have to, stomp around the room and circle one of the people that were arguing - like a tiger would circle its prey. Make sure to look your prey up and down so they know that you're sizing them up - this will activate their insecurities. They can't be above you if they're too worried if they spilled the cafeteria mac 'n cheese on their shirt, or if their fly is down. Finally, you should fall silent, stop all movement, count to thirty while they're frozen... and lunge for the throat now that they're thoroughly intimidated. No one can argue with you if they don't have any vocal chords.
