Behind the archives of every great settlement's history, there is an equally magnificent historian, waiting happily to document each event. Cefni has always been enamored with the history of various events taking place in Sornieth, and even more so with each clan's individual pasts.

With an intense craving for ancient knowledge, Cefni took to travelling around Sornieth, stopping from place to place in order to soak in whatever historic events they were willing to share. No matter how far she traveled, her thirst was never entirely satisfied. Destiny eventually brought her to Vitania, a bustling city with many stories to tell and fulfill.

Cefni marveled at their achievements, bouncing from storyteller to storyteller in order to record each story in her archives. This manner of record keeping caught the attention of the Council, who later realized they were continuously in need of a trustworthy historian. Realizing that Cefni would fit the bill quite well, Giles offered her a permanent position in Vitania as the city's dedicated historian. Cefni, ever happy to drown herself in history, gratefully accepted the offer.

No archives are more organized than the ones within her home space.

• Loss changes all.

• The streets lean into each other, and no matter which way you go, it's never long before you find the wall.

•There is only one way in. There is only one way out.

She is missing, but she is everywhere. Her name is holy, but many things have been done under it which are not.

• You do not belong among them, for you are not of the sick.

• There are bones under this stolen land, and they do not rest well. The arena can only hold back the beast for so long.

• The wall knows if you do not belong, and it has never been kind to strangers.

• With empty hands the ones outside the walls smile at you, welcome you, even with their teeth set too far back, and their eyes too sharp in their faces.

• The city feels no better. You know there is color besides gray in the world, yet you can never seem to quite recall it once you've left.

• The awareness among the residents always escapes you. A whispered secret they all share that you don't. Yet.

• Sometimes you catch a resident's eye. Something lives within them that unsettles you. You look away.

• The Lightweaver must not know this place, or if she does, she must pretend not to.

• You know the arena is out there, just beyond the city walls, but each time you try to go, the dirt track leads you back to the city.

Something roams the street at night. You've been told not to look.

• Ash drifts through the air and you've never quite figured out where it came from.

• Do not open the window, the air here is old, and you will be reminded that you are very, very small.

• The way they look at you, and the smiles they share in your presence begins to make you wonder.

• When the fog rolls in, go inside. Do not listen to the wailing from beyond the walls.

• Amid the falling ash they implore you to stay. But you are not one of them. Yet.

• As you take your leave, you are left to wonder if the city gate is meant to keep things out - or in.
