The Idol:

" 'Heavy is the head that wears the crown'? Lucian, I don't want a stupid crown I want to go home."

* Resident skin/accent wearer.
* He often sports the accents given to him by Luffy.
* Luffy initially supplied him with the accents in order to keep the younger imperial busy (and thus out of his hair) for extended periods of time. However, their shared hobby has now paved the way to a more relaxed relationship between the two, with Luffy starting to act as a father figure to the homesick adolescent. While awkward at first, the process of painting the accents on is now very therapeutic for both imperials and usually a time for reflection.
* The skins/accents Luffy supplies him with usually correspond with the month's or week's flight festival.
* Sol was taken in by Serenia as a hatchling when his home clan smuggled him out of light territory due to Emperor paranoia. While he understands that his native clan loved him, he really wonders just how much of the move was for his safety and how much of it was due to Serenia's insistence. The fact that the clan gave him up willingly still stings a bit.
* He was taken into the clan by Serenia because of his hatch-day, which coincided with the anniversary of the clan's founding, and his colors, which were the same as Umbra's .This combination was considered miraculous by the clan founder and the color, dubbed 'Midnight' by Luffy, continues to be one of her favorites.
* Homesick and in foreign territory, Sol immediately stuck to and bonded with the first dragons he could identify with, which happened to be the two older Imperials Luffy and Lucian. Their bonds were later strengthened as their hobbies found natural synergies with each other. He now views the two older imperials as something akin to father figures.
* Sol has outgrown Lucian, much to the latter's amusement and delight.
* His initial attempts at trying to interact with the oldest resident Imperial, Chogan, were shortlived due to the latter's blunt and emotionally distant demeanor.
* Sol thinks his status as a favored subject in this clan is odd and he is awkwardly stuck between playing it down for more freedom or trying to maintain the matriarch's favor in order to secure his safety in foreign Arcane flight lands.
