It's easy to get to know an open dragon like Albion, but most know that above all else he's tolerant and appreciative. Of course he's also passionate, individualistic and respectful, but far less strongly and often mixed with being a little impatient as well. His observant nature though, this is what he's pretty much loved for. People regularly count on this and his contemplative nature whenever they need cheering up. ྿ Nobody's perfect of course and Albion has a few of less favorable characteristics too. Sometimes he's too curious and it greats him great efford to keep a secret. Fortunately his creativity is there to relift spirits when needed.

Faeninaa's Clan; I was born in this Acrane clan, my mother Elina and father Owlen still live here. When I turned into an adult I decided to travel the world! I'll miss my friend Kuu. But on the bright side, I'll meet allot of dragons on my travels and make new friends. I least... I hope so. |

Everburn's Clan; Well, I saw an ash cloud and flew right into it. Then I plunged to the ground and got sick. Apparently the ash is poisonous. I met Blotch, and she nursed me back to heath. I fell in love with her and had a nest of 2. I might just return here, after I travel the world and get more stories. Falling out of the sky and staggering into Blotch's workshop is not going to impress anyone, people are tired of hearing the story, (except the hatchlings, but they just laugh), and the other blacksmith, Blaze, scares me. She keeps giving me dirty looks or pointedly ignores me whenever I go into the smithery to see Blotch.

Albion wandered through the Ashfall Watse, grateful that he had thought to go before winter had set in and he had grown his winter coat. It was hot, and they weren't kidding about the name- ash rained around him. He took a deep breath before he thought about in and was instantly coughing, he felt dizzy, very dizzy. He nearly fell into a lava pool before deciding it would be better to crawl. The ash stained his belly, but he didn't care. Bile rose into his thoat and he vomited. It was sickingly gray. He stumbled, even crawling, and saw no more.

He woke up to see a beautiful white and grey Coatl, muttering something about idiots. He groaned as she suddenly turned around and forced him to swallow something vile.
"Ugh, what is that stuff?" He complained as he forced himself out of a shallow hole lined with sand.
"That stuff is what saved your life. Only idiots fly into the ash cloud. You wanted to know why it was green, didn't you?" Her accent was thicker than most Coatls. She rustled around her... home? It looked more like a workshop.
"I- I think so, yes," he replied, remembering the greenish thing on the horizon.
"Well, you wouldn't be the first I had to give charcoal."
"Charcoal?"
"Yes, yes, try to keep up. It absorbs the poison from your system. Flamecaller knows why that ash is poisonous. You went through the cloud, probably felt too weak to fly, touched down, and started vomiting. It can take a lifetime to become immune to it. Honestly, it's a wonder your fur didn't catch fire."
"Umm... I recently shed. The oil's cleaned out when Tundras do."
"That would explain it. Well, you're staying here until I say so. I'm the expert when it comes to ash. I was once all white, you know."
"What's your name?"
"Blotch. A cruel joke on part of my mother."
"I like it," Albion said, smiling gently. She was beautiful, her feathers streaked with grey, like his own fur. She shook her head at him before giving him another vial. He didn't realize it was there. He only knew that he was swept off his feet.
He nuzzled Blotch, committing her smell to memory. "I'll be back, I promise."
Her eyes full of tears, she shoved something into his talons. "I- if you come back, I'll refrain from s- strangling you."
He looked at them, and saw a glint of gold peek up at him.
They were simple golden wing bangles, with irregular letters carved in them. He recognized them as the Coatl language, used before the common language became more popular among Coatls. Blotch had taught him a bit before he felt his winter coat begin to show up.
"So y- So you don't forget me. Please, just... go. I- I can't handle this."
Blotch's normally steady talons shook as she closed Albions's talons around the rings, engraved with messages to him.
