Angel is one of the more unusual members of the clan. No one is quite sure what she does, aside from sucking up to Mercury every now and then. Despite all the judgement, many who get to know her are put to ease by her maternal disposition and honeyed words, so much so that no one has the heart to go up and question Angel directly.

The vast majority of the judgement stems from her beliefs. She’s the only dragon for miles with the courage to question The Eleven, and just so happens to be rather vocal about it. Adding onto her strange behavior is her tendency to disappear for weeks on end. Every now and then, one brave soul will ask her where she’s headed. Angel always claims she’s visiting her charge.

RELATIONSHIPS

CHILDREN OF KATHAROS
Angel loves all of her siblings and treats each of them with utmost respect. She wishes Katharos was awake again already so it could be as proud as she is.

MERCURY
Though Mercury could never become one with Katharos, Angel still views her and the clan as a valuable asset to the church. She aims to establish some kind of friendship with Mercury, but the ice dragon is often too busy. Regardless, she’ll take whatever chance she can get to make small talk.

VITRIOL
Vitriol is Angel’s first and favorite child. She loves everything about her daughter, as she’s everything she could have hoped for. She typically only gets to see her during church, where they would preach and lead rituals together. Angel can rest easy knowing that if something happened to her, her heir would still be there.

SERAPHIM
Seraphim was born to do incredible things. Angel raised them with the hopes to create a living, breathing symbol of Katharos, only for the Guardian to disappear without a trace. She hasn’t stopped searching for them; Katharos needs its vessel.

• Has patches of missing scales on both of her arms.

• Her charge is Katharos, both as a concept and its (theoretical) physical form. Angel typically considers repeated blasphemy a direct threat. This apparently includes The Eleven.
