Ralencrofth Voltaire
ralencrofth voltaire was an imperial a long time ago who lived in what for her size was a fairly modest house designed to be inhabited by one, or, in a squeeze, two imperials. backstory stuff i'm no sure of happened, which led to her sharing this house with a swarm of several hundred faes. she fitted giant robot legs onto her house like some clockwork baba yaga to create the cogcrawler, a massive mechanical centipede, and she took her mobile house full of hundreds of faes and yote herself at full speed out into the uninhabited and uncharted vast expanse of shifting dunes in the far desert, none of them ever to be seen outside of unsubstantiated rumors from caravaneers and nomads passing by the area again, eventually fading into urban legend. long after her death the cogcrawler is still out there, inhabited by the descendantts of her fae friends, who have since her time converted her single imperial-sized walking house into an entire fae city, becoming something of a lost civilization to the world. generations old imperial sized cooking pots and cabinets repurposed into fae homes, the living room floor crisscrossed with tiny streets between the furniture. the crawler moves.
