The illusions and wards disguising the Haven did little to hide its location from Demeter's eyes; for the illusions were meant to beguile dragons and Demeter was never a dragon to begin with. When the clan asked where she came from, Demeter simply smiled. She never told the dragons of the Wayfarer's Haven how she ended up there but at some point they all began to believe that the pale Imperial had always lived among them. Indeed, if dragons witnessed her dance, they would believe whatever Demeter told them. It was the dance of a faerie and few dragons could resist its enchantments. Demeter herself seemed immune to deception and trickery, but many dragons began seeking her advice. "How can I improve this enchantment?" they would ask. Firesong, as friendly and warm-natured as his mate, tends to the more technical side of things. The Haven's nests are frequented often by both its own members and strangers who wish to honor the Shadowbinder by aligning their children with Her. He manages nesting schedules, assuring that those who wish to have a turn are able. Because of his inability to curb his innate want to drop everything and wander, he often asks for feathers and maps as voluntary compensation.

With a genuinely warm disposition, something that's quite out of place smack dab in the middle of The Tangled Wood, Flameheart and her mate, Firesong, manage the nests. Thanks to both her namesake and deep-rooted alignment to the Flamecaller, she's the ideal surrogate when the parents are needed elsewhere, able to keep both eggs and hatchlings safe and warm without much effort.

Yadael used to be a pirate, long, long ago. On one of his voyages for treasure, he discovered an unmapped island that reminded him of the tales his fellows would tell around the table. Upon ascending above the mountainous region on his trusty wings, he discovered it was indeed that such island. A deep cavern could be spotted within the mountain side! He was to enter, and such a glorious sight did meet his eyes: piles of gold and jewels cascaded across the room. He slipped it over his scales and his tattooed wings, and began to take inventory. Soon, he started to feel very strange. Unbeknownst to him, he had forgotten his wife, and this left a void in his heart. He left without desire for the treasures, but when he was to look on into the sunset, he was to gasp with joy. He flew on and on, through storms, through day and night. He flew on until he plummeted from the sky, arriving in his current Clan. Yadael is an older dragon who, when prompted, can talk for hours about his adventures. However, if you mention his wife, he will falter, and his eyes will stare off into the distance, glazed. Yadael is desperately in love with the sun, and the only thing stopping him from flying straight into it is his jewelry. It was what cursed him to be enslaved to this love for the rest of his life, and it is also the one who forbids them from ever meeting. Loves imitating voices when telling stories.
