Discovered washed up on the shore of an island off the coasts of Wind and Water territories as an egg, Tenuta was adopted and raised by a loving couple who were unable to have children of their own. For them, Tenuta was a gift and they raised him with all the love and care of real parents.

Growing up on an island whose residents all lived off the land, Tenuta was taught a variety of useful agricultural skills by his parents and fellow clanmates that he carried with him into adulthood. Rather than choose one skill to dedicate himself to however, Tenuta instead focused on learning to be sufficient in all practices. He took on the role of an apprentice under the watchful eye of many of his clanmates until he grew adept in gardening, harvesting, crafting, woodwork, fishing, carpentry, and tending to livestock.

Since introducing Tenuta to the ways of island life, its residents have noticed a spike in crops and livestock that grow far beyond their usual expected sizes. A strawberry the size of a potato, a stalk of wheat twice as tall as the rest, a goat that could fit in with the cattle. These record breaking abnormalities are still rare, but their appearances have without a doubt increased.

The largest and most astounding of these giants happens to be Tenuta's pet Chipskink. Usually ranging from squirrel to cat sized at most, Tenuta's companion, named Arthur, grew until he stood as tall as the clan's largest horse. Given his size, Arthur earns his meals by doing the same work as the horses. He pulls plows and carts, and can be ridden with the help of a unique homemade saddle.

Now a charming young man, Tenuta remains diligent and offers his time to anyone who requires it.
