At this point I'm just trying to put SOMETHING in these things for consistency. My only idea for Modestus is that he's stuck up and takes great pride in his appearance. He probably tries to shove people around with his lineage (I am Modestus, first-born of Vermicular!), but it never works because his father's position in the council was elected and the clan could take it away at any moment. Other than that, he's a fine enough scout when he's not fighting with Romero about proper scout attire.

Fun fact: Modestus was my first ever gene project! More specifically, he was the first dragon I ever saved up money for specifically to give him new genes. His original tertiary was runes, and I thought they blended in a bit too well with his body. I really liked how thylacine looked, especially because it looked like the "fade" of the color was pretty minimal.
