Cloistered Oracle of the clan's Summer Shrine.

In the dephs of the sea cliff-carved Summer Shrine is an immense dark cavern with a high ceiling, the only light coming from a slit cut in the earth high above, which aligns with the sun's position as it travels across the sky, sending a beam down into the darkness below.

The Oracle stands in this ray of illumination, watching the solar Light travel above, seeking portents from their Goddess amid the motes of brilliance that piece the cave's darkness.
Once the sun passes out of that small aperture and the cavern again sinks into unlit darkness, a faint glow from the crystalline patches on the Oracle's hide are the only illumination as he spends the rest of his time musing over the cryptic signs he has gleaned from the heavens until the next morning when the cycle repeats.

Since he was brought into this cloister as a tiny hatchling, this subterranean space has been his entire world, and gazing into the Eye of the Lightweaver his sole purpose.

Aside from his attendants and the acolytes who record his enlightened musings, nothing interrupts his contemplative existence.
