Dark is a Warrior of the Frozen Wind Clan. Her parents, Whitewing and Snowtiger (Whitewing being the former leader of the Frozen Wind Clan), both hail from the Southern Icefield but Dark, being of the Wind Flight, felt a need to leave her clan and explore. One night she ran away into the night. Where is she now? In your clan? Out in the forest? Traveling? It's up to you to decide! Dark's first stop was in a lair full of colors and different dragons. There were so many colourful dragons in this lair and she was enamoured by the beauty of all of them. She quickly became friends with Shazam and played a lot of fun tricks with her. She also got to know the two leaders of the lair Yellowfang and Stormheart, and saw so many dragons leave and come to the clan. She also met another traveling derg, Hotaru, who was doing the same thing she was! Dark was quickly accepted into a colorful community with so many personalities and she loved it. However, after a while, she felt that it was time to leave. She had enjoyed every second with this lair and will continue to remember it for centuries to come. She said goodbye, but the leaders gave her a ring to remember them by.
