Caestus

Caestus is a rather mysterious dragon who no one seems to know much about. He disappears at weird times and doesn't come back until early in the morning. Though others have reached out to him, he isn't much of a talker and would rather observe than engage.

He's normally calm and collected, but the hatchlings found out the hard way about his explosive temper when they accidentally smashed one of his family heirlooms.

Despite the fact that the two are separated, Caestus is very attached to his sister, Zorya. He constantly tries to contact her, sending letters and emails that aren't returned. According to him, she's the "last thing he has left". We don't know what that means, especially since there's like, tons of other dragons in the lair he could make friends with, but hey, to each their own.

After wandering in the Tangled woods, Caestus fearded the worst. He had lost his way and the sun was getting low. Creatures of shadow will soon find him and he does not have the strength to defend himself. Tired and hungry, he layed his head down on a lonely log and hoped he awakes once more in the warmth of the sun and the gently breeze of home.

As the hours passed, the forest came to life. Glowing eyes darting through the bushes staring the poor wanderer down, bringing dread in their way.

Scared

So scared...

Voices were darting around his head, mocking him, pestering him.

He wanted to run, fly away as fast as he could. But his body was frozen, unable to move in this neverending shadow cast by the moon.

This is it he thought...

"I'm sorry Zorya"

"I'm so sorry..."

A warmth wrapped around his body, the voices were gone and fear melted away. Did the sun rise? Is this nightmare over? He felt warm claws lifting him up as he was greeted by two purple eyes.

"You have wandered quite far from home, haven't you little breeze?"

A female ridgeback, mastering flames to her will, was holding his body. Her warmth flooding his body. The last thing he saw before falling unconsious was a fleeting shadow behind her, beckoning them to follow.

He was send to a docter named Sarah and was nursed back to health. The leader of this lair, Cynthia has welcomed him to the land and offered him a stay. This lair, he hasn't seen anything like this before. Dragons from all around the land, gathered in one place. Shadow dragons that master the arts of fire, a wind coatl just as him, master of light magic. A light imperial creating ice crystals and water droplets.

He wonders, maybe we aren't bound to our Deities. Is it possible to master multiple elements?
