Generally gentle and kind, Butch is the coven's top authority on alchemy and medical care. She came into the coven with her wife, June after beaurocratic intrigue and blackmail made the repslendant halls of the radiant beacon unsafe for them to stay in.

She often butts heads with the other prominent members of the coven. They need each other's services, protection, and community, but often argue due to fundamentally holding different standards for morality and empathy.

She tries her best to provide as much genuine kindness and guidance for hatchlings and others new to the coven. She can sometimes be overbearing and overprotective but tries to center kindness and empathy as much as possible in her interactions with others, especially her wife June, and her son, Dahpa.
