SIBYL
Seer / Healer | Shy | Quiet | Somber Sibyl is a quiet dragon who hatched with the natural ability to glimpse the future. Her egg had been stolen from the Sea of a Thousand Currents by a group of beastclans. The thieving group ran into a small clan of dragons in their way, and decided they could take them on. They had underestimated the small clan, and though the beastclan group outnumbered the dragon clan, the dragons fought them off. The beastclans had accidentally dropped the egg during the brawl, and recognizing it as a dragon egg, Ash took the egg in, promising to take care of it and raise the hatchling. As Sibyl grew older, her adoptive mother, Ash, started to realize the small hatchling was different. She would always talk about things that were going to happen, as if she were playing a game. Then, miraculously, the things she said would come true. Knowing that water dragons tended to be oracles, Ash studied how to help Sibyl grow and exercise her natural ability. Soon, glimpsing the future wasn't the only thing Sibyl could do. Her magical abilities grew with her, and she became a powerful mage and healer as well as a seer and soothsayer. Through her visions, Sibyl learned of all the evil dragons were capable of, and how unfair the world was, which sent her mental health slowly spiraling downwards. She always does her best to help where she can, but she's hopelessly shy, worried about what might happen in the future if she says the wrong thing, as she can only glimpse the future, not see every possibility. That's why she decided to become a healer; to help make up for all the terrible things done by others. She knows it's not her fault those things happened, but she can't help but feel responsible. She's quiet and kind, but in a constant somber state. And no one knows how to help her.
