Ash is a kind and caring dragon who treats most (if not all) dragons as if they were her children; always making sure they have enough to eat, been getting enough sleep, and just mothering them in general, even if said dragons are older than she is. Some dragons get annoyed by this pretty quickly, but most of the clan is used to it by now. It got a lot easier for them when Ash decided to adopt the unhatched water egg dropped by a group of beastclans, as her attention was focused almost purely on taking care of the egg, then, once it hatched, the hatchling. After learning about the hatchling's natural gift of glimpsing the future, Ash named her adopted daughter Sibyl.

Ash is a great hunter, which she took up after wanting to provide for her clan to take care of all her fellow clanmates. She doesn't just hunt for meat though; she "hunts" any kind of food the clan needs, from plants to insects to fish. Whenever other dragons go out to scavenge for food with her, many find it hard to keep a straight face as Ash stalks around whispering things like "Shh! You'll scare away the prey! The flower's have incredible hearing despite not having ears!"

Whenever she has the chance to make a joke or pun, she usually takes it, usually earning a lot of exasperated groans from other dragons, but she does it anyway.
