Reese was once a proud Imperial Dragon. He wanted to be a teller of the glories of the his region Deity the Lightweaver. He wanted to spread her forgotten wisdom across the Sunbeam Ruins and even all of Sornieth.

He spent most of his time gathering books on everything the Lightweaver had ever done. One particular book told the tales of the Shade and how the eleven reigning Deities feared the devastation it could cause.

Reese wanted to know more about the entity that made his Deity feel fear.

He found himself reading over old and new documents alike that detailed all that was known about the Shade. He absorbed all the information about it that he could in his search for knowledge. Though soon it was becoming clear that the Imperial was becoming obsessed in his research. As if the Shade was taking over every aspect of his life.

And it was. The more the light drake read, the more he wanted to know. The more he wanted to know, the more he searched. Eventually Reese's ambition of spreading the glory of the Lightweaver was replaced with a sick romanticized obsession with the Shade.
Soon he found himself worshiping it in his sickness.
Reese met his first mate after he had become a devotee of the Shade. She was a bright colored Coatl with yellows and oranges that showed the fire of her spirit. She was smitten with him and found his eccentricities rather charming.

He never had any hatches with her despite them speaking of it multiple times. His mate ended up just disappearing one day out of the blue. After that day he began to wear a mask that looked very much like a skull.
When Reese met Sunni, he thought she was everything good. She was bright colored, glowing, and the pure embodiment of light. She would be perfect for his plans. They could breed quiet a gorgeous nest of eggs together. One that would hold is successor and continue his work for the Shade when Reese could not.

Sunni caught on quickly to her mate's plans and sent her eggs away to a friend she kept silent on.
Now with Sunni gone from his life, Reese wanders around Sornieth. He figures he isn't going to get himself a successor and has opted for a new ultimatum.

The world is going to die. That is how things are. When he finally made his end, he wanted to have at least three other followers of the Imperial breed meet the darkness with him. Than he could spread a different kind of glory across Sornieth. One that wouldn't be so soon forgotten.
