Biography

The marketplace was unusually crowded today. Not only with customers, but it seemed like more vendors had opened up shop, probably because of the Brightshine festival. It seemed like there was an abundance of light dragons around, in carts propped open to reveal a small shop inside. There was a small pink Fae selling golden silks adorned with the Lightweaver's emblem, a large brown Guardian advertising a magical golden halo, 'guaranteed to make one look especially angelic'. But despite the many tempting offers, Myra wasn't here for shopping.

The blue Bogsneak blended in marvelously with the crowd. She had no overly fancy markings on her hide, no extravagant apparel, and wasn't particularly wealthy-looking. Perhaps the one unusual thing about her was the small toad perched on her shoulder, but even that was hardly noticeable. While the bustling dragons around her pushed their way around various shops, the Bogsneak's eyes were focused on the walls of the marketplace. The toad let out an impatient croak.

"Patience now, Lulu. You can't expect it to be out in the open, you know." She cooed softly, and gently stroked her companion, who remained perched on her shoulder. Myra had always been a patient dragon, and in situations like these, that was a very good thing.

A few minutes of careful searching brought her where she needed to be. A small, barely noticeable wooden door, emblazoned with a symbol of a golden Lynx. A shady looking figure leaned against the wall beside it. Lulu croaked in fear and hid inside Myra's coat pocket. Myra, however, seemed unbothered by the somewhat frightening sight, and slipped outside the crowd to make her way over.

She had just placed her hand on the door when the figure beside her intervened.

"Woah there, little lady. Where do you think you're going?" The hooded Spiral asked. Myra could see multiple daggers hidden inside his coat.

"I would like to speak with your master." She responded calmly.

"What for?"

"I have information I believe would be very useful to both him and the Oriet."

"What kind of information?" The Spiral snorted disbelievingly.

"That is for him to know. I wish to speak with him."

The Spiral rolled his eyes, but drew away from the door. Myra nodded and slipped through into a dark stone hallway. Going down it, she could find many figures, each of them hooded just like the Spiral guard. With her feathered headpiece and basic robes, she looked very out of place. Nonetheless, she continued, unbothered, down the hallway until she came into a room where a Wildclaw, also hooded, but adorned with several badges and tattoos, sat patiently with his arms folded over a desk. He was surrounded by two guards, a Guardian and a Snapper. Underneath his hood, his eyes looked Myra up and down. He scoffed.

"Who are you, and why are you here?"

"My name is Myra, and I would like to speak with you. I have information that I think would be of great value to your cause."

The Wildclaw laughed. "You? What does our cause matter to you?"

Myra tilted her head. "The future of Aespana affects many dragons, does it not?" her expression remained neutral.

The Wildclaw shared a glance with the Snapper guard to his left. "Very well." he responded finally. "What is it you wish to tell me?"

Myra smiled, and pulled out a wrapped bundle from underneath her coat, placing it up on the Wildclaw's desk. She watched as he undid the coverings and glanced at its contents. His eyes went wide. Myra grinned as he waved off the two guards with a flick of his wrist.

"I have information that I believe will aid in the fall of Queen Valentine."

The Wildclaw folded his hands on his desk, smiling for the first time since Myra had walked in.

"Go on."
