He crawed up from a puddle of sludge, at midnight, after a flood. Exxus bears the blood-red eyes of a Plague-born wyrm. He claims a special, divine connection to Death. The dragons of Chiaroscuro are inclined to believe him, as his skill at preserving the dead is unmatched. Piles and piles of bones, specimens in jars- these make up the horde of Exxus. He is quiet. His voice is always just above a whisper. Death seekers follow him.

A priest as well as a mortician, he conducts dark rituals, easing souls' journey to the after life. For this, Sawyer cherishes him. Exxus is held in high regard by by the nobles of Chiaroscuro, but he does not seem to care. Death is his one, solitary obsession.
