Being the clan's lead warrior was a job Cadenza never took lightly. The eldest and strongest of her siblings, she'd always put her heart into her training and dreamed of being her clan's protector. Not for the praise or recognition, no... in fact, there was rarely a thank you given. The young Skydancer simply needed to know that she could defend herself and anyone who needed it. She needed to know that her family was safe and no one would ever hurt them - and if they did, then they'd regret it. It was the least she could do, in her opinion.

As a hatchling, Cadenza had always been astonishingly adventurous, always getting away from the rest of the group to do her own explorations without a care in the world. She would always be found before getting herself into any real trouble... usually. One day she wandered too far through the Starwood Strand, and into Plague territory. At first, her biggest problem was being lost and avoiding any rogue mirrors - but then the Talonok showed up. At her young age there was hardly much she could do against the huge flock of warrior birds, so when Cypher and Necrozma showed up... they undoubtedly saved her life.

Ever since that incident, Cadenza retreated into herself. She committed herself to her training to be able to defend herself and anyone else if anything like that ever happened again. She didn't need her words for that. Some of the other dragons saw her as rather standoffish, but in truth, her past had scarred her. She distanced herself from the other dragons lest she get them into trouble, she spoke few words in case she said something wrong. But no matter what, she knew she loved her clan with all her heart, and would do anything for them. She just needed someone to understand that and help her learn to trust herself again.
