______ With one swift blow to the neck, the Bogsneak was on the ground, limp and unresponsive. Blood began to leak out of the wound on his neck as the rest of the hunting party began to realize what their leader had done. Lavender gasped, while Extra began pacing franticly.
"Oh, this is bad, bad bad bad!" Extra screeched, but Lyora was oddly unperturbed by the dead body lying in front of her.
"It was bound to happen eventually. You saw how he was harassing the poor thing." She said in her monotone voice, gesturing a claw to Nokk. Her shaking wings began to slowly unfurl as she peered at her assailant's body by Lyora's feet.
"But we should have told Blue first!" Lavender piped up
"You and I both know Blue wouldn't have done anything! She's so passive with all of us, I'm surprised if she would've even acknowledged we were talking to her!" She glanced down at her claws and now stained arm wraps.
"Somebody had to do something. Now come on, let's clean this mess up."
As Lyora began to walk away, Extra leaned over to Lavender
"What'll Blue do when she finds out Pestis is dead?"
"I don't know, but I don't wanna be around when she hears the news."

______ Blue looked on at the trio standing below her, aloof on her glacial pedestal. Extra paced around her friends, wringing her hands as she tried to explain the corpse found by the clan's search parties.
"Look, we don't know how Pestis died, it could've been a rival clan, or anything!" She stuttered, trying to convince Blue of her friend's false innocence. Lavender was just lying down on the cold ice, her head hidden under her cloak. Baphomet would be furious if she found out about her involvement in the murder of another clan-mate. But Lyora was standing her ground, looking Blue in her emotionless eyes.
"I did it." Extra stopped cold in her tracks, shooting a surprised look at Lyora. Lavender buried herself deeper in her cloak, pretending not to be in front of her matriarch with a murder charge. "I did it, but they had nothing to do with it. Punish me however you want, but leave them alone!" There was a tense silence in the ice cave as Blue and Lyora glowered at each other. Then, Blue shuffled up and left the room through her corridor without a word, leaving the trio in stunned silence.
"Is it over?" Lavender asked, finally uncovering her face."
"I doubt it, but I think I got you guys off the hook."
"Oh, but what are we gonna do without you here? You know Blue will banish you, and I don't think we can keep fighting without you!" Extra whimpered, trying to keep herself from bursting into tears."
"Well, I'm not leaving. This is my home now, and if Blue wants me to leave, then she's going to have to put some force behind her words."


Gotta rework this, one of the first bits or lore I wrote and not really vibin' with it anymore
