Needs a rewrite wrote this 3 am in the morning.
Adira is the mother of Monochrome,Sterling and Umbra. She runs a small flower shop that specializes in plants medical purposes. She hails the Ashwall Wastelands and from the region of Blacksand Annex. Back home her family gained a reputation for being able to grow plants in even the harshest of conditions. Some dragons however did not like this and called it a curse or dark magic. They would talk about behind her families back and sometimes right in their faces. They would sometimes be denied services. But whenever reason, when these individuals would get sick her family, of course, would provide them with the medicine and treatment.
When she younger she did not understand how her parents could treat these dragons with such niceness after all the stuff they put them through. Her parent would tell her when one become a doctor or a nurse they must take an oath either the Hippocratic oath or the Nightgale's Pledge respectively. With this oath, they are to be held to a certain ethical standard. Their job is to heal they are not judges and they are not juries. They went to school to relieve pain from others not dish it out. At this time Adira realized that yes she wanted to be a healer like her parents but she just could not do it in such a hate-filled environment. So once she was old enough she decided to do some traveling to find her place own.
Her parents were understanding but wished that she would stay with them and the rest of the family. She left with the promises to write often and to send pictures of the exotic plants that she sees. During that time she bumped into this Tundra who was traveling as well but for his doctorate. They hit it pretty off well. Over time they did go their separate ways but not before he told her about his home clan. She liked what she heard. He talked endlessly about all the dragons that he grew up and yes there were still those jerks but they were far in between. With the promise to exchange letters she went on her way to this land that she pretty sure was make-believe.
When she arrived it was a nice town a bit bigger than she was accustomed to but it has its own charm. She found an internship with the perplexing Doctor Moon. Who to be honest has her confused how he knew so much on herbs when his specialty was... hmm what was it again? Gosh, she always draws a blank here... Maybe it was general medicine? No. Emergency Medicine? Pediatrics? Ugg! Let's just move on...
With her internship going great she even made some friends. Got invited out on some dates that sadly did not go so well but she still had fun at least. Guess who popped back up? That lovely Tundra from before who was apparently done with his traveling. He told her he was glad to see that she was doing well when he popped up at her house for a visit. Adira was upset that he did not send a post beforehand so she could at least make him something nice. He still had his traveling bags with him for Pete's sakes. He said he could make it up if he took her out somewhere nice to eat. Adira agreed to her terms and now they are of family 6. With her three youngest Monochrome, Sterling and Umbra all living at home. Her oldests two had moved out to live life on their own. She still writes postcards to her parents and does yearly visits. With the most recent is when they come cross Umbra and Sterling.
