DESCRIPTION
Altair runs a medical research laboratory in Etruria with his wife Vega. Their research is often supported by lady Anja and her retainer Yuuya. Some in Valentia call Altair the brightest mind in Sorineth for his research and discoveries have become known world-round. His advancements in white magic are especially impressive, but when asked about his research Altair points all the credit to his wife Vega without fail.

Altair spends much of his time mentoring the young Delthea and her elder brother Luthier. Delthea has much untapped magicl potential having come from a clan well known for it's powerful mages, so after the war in Rigel, Luthier sought out Altair as a means to help Delthea hone her potential instead of squandering it. Altair gladly jumped at the opportunity to pass on his knowledge to someone so young. Delthea wasn't sold on the idea at first, but she has quickly come around to Altair and Vega's teachings. She's a quick study and Altair has started to view her as a daughter figure of sorts. Luthier is quite sharp as well, and Altair couldn't be more proud of their progress under his tutelage. Initially Altair and Vega came to Valentia for safety alone. Word of Altair's research had begun to spread and many in Sorineth sought to harm him in some way, and being a part of a smaller clan who were beginning to feel pressure for harboring him, Altair and Vega fled to a nation with a stronger and more rigid defense to continue their research in safety. Unfortunately there are some less than savory individuals in the world who the last thing they desire is to see medicine and healing be improved and perfected.
