Head Chef for the crew of Ketterdam, Quantum is the most reserved and calm dragon for the rest of the exuberant and loud group. He even beats out Kaz, who normally maintains a very stoic exterior. He prefers to be the shadow behind the light, the coal to the steam. He hates the spotlight, and will do everything possible to avoid it.

When he arrived on Ketterdam, he was _shocked_ by the low quality of food. Everyone loved food, but no one knew how to properly cook it. He pushed his way into the kitchen, and he hasn't let anyone else in since. No one is complaining, though, because he is such a top chef. Once Nina joined he lets her in the kitchen sometimes, as she has an expertise with more sweet things than he does.

He enjoys his role, watching everyone else and providing the support they need. From watching others he's grown more comfortable, picked up a bit of humor, and learned how to deal with even the most stubborn or strange of dragons.
