He was only in Helga's custody for a very short time until he was adopted by his two loving parents Akmar and Ginti. » Though is passion is in the study of ancient history, Yogo assists his clan as part of the team of Scouts, who fly ahead of the Potbelly before it lands. His job allows him early access to local clans in the area, giving him time to meet with locals and study the region before the ship itself arrives with all the burst of activity it brings with it. » Yogo grew up in the loving care of his two beloved fathers, who he still remains close to today. He spends most of his time either alone or with his family, though he retains a close friendship with the clan's eternal hatchling Toivo. The two grew up on the ship together, and still remain friends even as Yogo grew into adulthood. |

YEAR OF THE GOBLIN
2017-2018 Leader: Finnian The Year of the Goblin is named for the wily beasts that were thought to be merely folktale until one showed up at the doorstep of our lair. Goblins are reclusive and clever creatures, keeping an eye on the subjects of the deity they serve. Dragons hatched during the Year of the Goblin are said to be imbued with keen observational skills, and an extra dose of wit. We began the Year of the Goblin at the bottom of the Zephyr Steppes, where Finnian and Aureole founded our then-nameless clan. In its early days, the clan was preoccupied with keeping everyone fed and safe. We didn't have much in the way of resources, but among the clan, we did have a family. As the clan grew and spread, we acquired more and more territory across the Windswept Plateau, and slowly became more organized. Finnian's rule was a laissez-faire one, suited perfectly to the young, growing clan. He mainly served as a peacekeeper, settling disputes among clanmates and making major decisions when needed. He was very relaxed with rules--his clan hardly ever required major discipline, only occasional guidance. Overall, he was a wise and benevolent leader, who guided his little clan with a gentle claw. This year saw the opening and closing of the clan's first hatchery Ghostlights, and the beginning of the Lisa Frank Quest. A rudimentary Coliseum team was formed, nicknamed the Butterfly Battalion. This team trained their successors then went into retirement within the year. During the year of the Goblin, our clan grew enough to accommodate 80 dragons. We ended the year with 45 perma-dragons, 13 hatchery dragons, and 3 other project dragons. At the end of the year, the clan came together to build and launch the Potbelly, which we now call home. |

YEAR OF THE SPIRIT
2018-2019 Leader: Junior Spirits are not so much creatures as they are ideas. The Year of the Spirit is named for these ribbon-like beings that cannot be seen as much as they are felt. Legend tells that dragons hatched in the Year of the Spirit are experts in creativity, abstract thought, and artistic expression. The Year of the Spirit was a prosperous one for the Winged Pig Clan. Aboard the S.A.S. Potbelly, we traveled the skies of Sornieth, trading with clans all over the realm. During this time, we developed much more structure and order within the clan. Specific roles were created as the need arose, masters took on apprentices, and everyone did their part to keep the ship running. Our financial endeavors also proved profitable; between selling our wares and delivering cargo, we made quite a bit of money! Much of the clan's improved structure during this year is owed to the leadership of Junior, the daughter of the Winged Pig Clan's two founders. Under her watch, everything was well-planned and organized. Junior's sharp wit coupled with her mate Zuzu's charisma made them both impeccable leaders, and set a new standard for clan leadership. The Coliseum became a core focus of the clan this year. The standard team of Lysander, Osiris and Gulara led most missions and brought countless riches back to the clan. A new team led by Irid was formed to help out in the Golem Workshop, assisted by her two brutal golems, Phobos and Deimos. The Lisa Frank Quest was wrapped up within this year, and a few breeders from the project stuck around as permanent clan members. The Year of the Spirit ended with space for 100 dragons in our ancient lair. The year ended with 62 perma dragons, and two other project dragons. |

YEAR OF THE AMBASSADOR
2019-2020 Leader: Barney The year of the Ambassador honors the diverse beastclans that share the realm of Sornieth with dragons. Just like the noble creatures of the year's namesake, dragons hatched in this year tend to be hardworking and loyal. The biggest event during the Year of the Ambassador was the migration of the clan to the Plague flight. Soon after the 2019 Mistral Jamboree, most of the clan bid farewell to the Windswept Plateau they had always called home. While many members stayed on the Potbelly, the clan also set up its own Plague territory. The Fungal Farms were constructed in the Scarred Wasteland in the middle of a forest of enormous mushrooms growing on the border with Nature. Clanmembers on the farms work to grow and harvest this strange fungus, which is sold and used around the clan for countless purposes. Barney's rule shifted the clan towards a focus on dominance in this year. The Plague flight is much more involved in dominance than this former Wind clan was used to, but everyone pitched in enthusiastically. The result was several successful dominance pushes and new riches! During this year, the Clan of the Winged Pig was host to quite a few dominance events. They became hosts for the Plague public buy for multiple dominance pushes, and ran a doll-making game during the 2019 Riot of Rot. The Year of the Ambassador ended with a lair big enough to accomodate 125 dragons. We ended the year with 61 perma dragons and two project dragons. |
