Before joining the Noratorri clan, Briste wasn't always a Gaoler. He was a small Fae up for sale for what he known to be his whole life on the Auction House. He never felt in place with any clan who decided to pay the toll to adopt him; forcing different gene options on the small Fae; giving him no choice; no voice on what he wanted.

After a year, he thought that he never fit in; having heard the Gaoler's return or rather the discovery. Briste was amazed by the breed and had known that there was a secret item that allowed him to turn him into one of those dragons. It was at that time, Laddi, being one of the most popular Gaolers that was first introduced, was looking for other dragons that could help her in her upcoming BBF Hatchery, or Beach Bum Floof for long terms.

Briste along with other Gen one dragons were adopted having Laddi give them a choice; "I took you all in this clan with Koocy's permission that you can become apart of my family. You don't have to become like me but you do have a choice to become whatever dragon you dreamt on being." Briste along with the other First Generation dragons took her offer and chose genes that they liked and raised up funding.

Sure it took both Briste and Aka (once a Pearlcatcher) a long time before they can get their last genes, but they took a second option for the whole hatchery before the clan can either buy the Pinstripe and Trail or get a high enough level to craft them.
