Lyara captivates all hatchlings with her fancy jewelry and cute familiar, truth be told though even the adults get caught up in her demeanor which somehow speaks of humbleness and regalness in equal measure. No one really knows much about where she came from and she won't say, all she'll tell them is that this is her home now, and she really has found a place for herself, with a mate that she loves and friends all around.

Lyara's job in the clan is making sure everything runs smoothly. While some dragons think this is unfair for her, they see her job as all paperwork and no real decision making power, she really doesn't mind, she kind of even likes it. She enjoys seeing the effects of her work in the smooth and orderly way the clan runs.

To Skelaki Lyara is a pillar, a steady grounding presence in the bright chaos of her mind. To Lyara Skelaki is a lantern, burning brightly and illuminating all her good qualities. Skelaki has a tendancy to do that, she burns so brightly her light shines through other people, showing them virtues that they never knew they had.

Lyara officiates the Day of Remembrance, a time to think about those who have left us. The festival is celebrated during early december and is a more energetic celebration than most expect it to be. In contrast to the Day of Rebirth it is often marked by the whole clan gathering together to honor lost loved ones. This can mean anything from talking about fond memories of them to creating things for or about them. One common practice is that families will come together to write a book of everything they remember about them. The Days of Remembrance are of special importance to Lyara herself, she has lost most of her hatchlings and can often be found spending the holiday with her remaining two children.
