B I O G R A P H Y
Nyarlathotep has always believed that there's more loyalty and respect to be had from animals than dragons, and his views have never earned him much love. He did not spend long in the clan of his birth and spent much of his life ranging through the Scarred Wasteland, something that others might not have seen as a good way to make a living, but Nyarlathotep managed it nonetheless, namely by forming strange bonds with the wildlife he crossed paths with. Eventually his ranging took him beyond the plaguelands and into the Tangled Wood, where he survived in much the same fashion, never wanting for more than he had. On his travels, however, he encountered Pandora, the Clan Misfortunes second in command, and became intrigued with the way she interacted with the umbra wolves that traveled with her. While initially unfriendly towards him, eventually Pandora gave in to his persistant curiosity and took him to her mate. While the strange grouping of dragons of such distinctly different backgrounds and temperments was at first overwhelming to Nyarlathotep he eventually found himself oddly comfortable in their presence, and offered his skills as a survivalist to the clan. He still tends to prefer the company of beasts to other dragons though, particularly dogs...the winged kind especially. Nyarlathotep is not a very talkative creature, and is in fact quite awkward in social situations, preferring to be left alone or left to silently lead other dragons where they need to go, but otherwise remaining alone and untroubled. The only company he seems happy with is that of the pack of dogs, especially hainu, he has been slowly amassing around him. He has, however, forged bonds with his clanmates and is typically a kind and helpful sort, even if he can be clumsy with how he shows it. |
