The bogsneak, with his near-mane of rustling fins, turns his head to 'look' at you unerringly beneath that blinding cover. "A seer, yes," he says after a moment, and his voice sounds much like two stones grinding deep in his chest. "You must know, firstly, that I am Water; I am not truly Starborn. But. I am useful here, in the belly of the Arcanist's home. My Sight warns of disaster. For beings such as the Starborn, who would pursue knowledge at all costs, even to their own great detriment, such a thing is useful to prevent a most unfortunate end." He laughs, gravely and strange.

"Of course, I required some... enhancement, to become accurate enough to be useful. My colleague, Sentry, specializes in twisting the body to enhance the mind. She has made me more than the sum of my parts." He shrugs in a rustle of wings that seem a bit like if water decided, suddenly, to become crystalline stone, and makes a noncommittal noise. "It is a strange life, being the Starborn's guard against themselves, but it is also an interesting one. And I have become closer to my own deity, even in his absence, with their aid. That is worth all the difference."
