Give a greeting to CappucinoGem, who joined the clan in June of 2018 who is also one of the clan's Chocolatiers & Baristas! :D


When I/Cascade saw the dragon here that hatched, his colors reminded me of the swirls that can be found in one of the caffiene-enriched drink of coffee-lovers called a cappuccino and his bright purple & blue colors made me think of the colors of rich gems and thus, his name was created :D As his name can be long for some to say, he goes by CJ for short, and while there's no j there in his name, everyone agrees it's just easier; and his lovely wife took up calling him "Cappie" for short, and he also responds to that, and wears his signature cabbie cap to go along with it :D

This Gaurdian has taken up his wife as his Charge & was devoted to her the fist moment he saw her and now protects her with his life! :D

CappiccinoGem was born to Tiger & SunsetSplash, to one of the younger families at the time, making them parents for the first time & hatched as an only child at first. The trio grew happily together & he enjoyed the presence of his mother much more than his father for some reason, yet still happy for both. Then, news came they had more children on the way CJ became happy & looked forward to their arrival. When the clan expanded & cleared some more land in the Winsinger's domain around that time, his two new siblings were welcomed in shortly thereafter and he met his sisters :D They grew up happily as well, and he got along well with Summer, loving her buoyant, happy-go-lucky, fun-loving personality and being soothed by the peacefulness of his other sister's kind, calm, compassionate & empathetic personality that Gwenarria had. As time went on, they all grew up in the clan and, loving the place so much, decided to stay and place their roots here & happily make lives for themselves. With the happy, loving atmosphere of their family & home, Gwenarria has accredited this to helping her find her Charge, and CapuccinoGem couldn't be prouder to have helped contribute some to that :)
As he stayed in the clan, he tried his claw (hand) at many a different task, yet found that he had yet to find a talent he was truly good at..or his Charge. Trying not to be discouraged by this, however, he still set forth finding where he could fit in in the clan. Meeting some of the cooks, he found an interest there and made many friends there and they started up some of the clan's first cafes. In this, he discovered his talent and found how good he was with making the sweet brown treat for others to enjoy called chocolate, and thus became appointed by his grandmother as clan Chocolatier! It didn't stop there, however, as one day someone had dug up an odd-looking contraption, and that clan mechanic at the time fixed it and figured out it was a coffee maker. Several tried their hand at concocting the bitter brown drink, but it wasn't until CJ stumbled upon it and tried his claw at the device and got the liquid to come out better than any had had before, and, mixing it with a few ingredients, sweeter than normally as well that he discovered he had a knack for this too. From this day on, he also earned his title as clan Barista, and served the steaming hot liquid aside from his confections in his café off of the clan center. Happy to have found his Roles, he worked to create many tasty kinds of these tasty treats for the dragons to enjoy, yet still felt as though something was missing, as he still hadn't found his Charge..
But all of that changed when the clan was still forming and about a year later when Night of the Nocturne was running rampant through the realm and the clan partook of the events for the first time since forming. The Strange Chests of the event filled the hoard and eager dragons, taking turns, pried them open to see what prizes awaited them. CJ had his turn, and among the items that tumbled out, a Nocturne egg rolled forth, and stopped just between his feet. He was unsure what to do at first, but felt a strong feeling tugging at him & drawing him to the egg for some reason. Uncertain what that was about or meant, he figured the best idea was to let the others divvy out the prizes and take the egg to the Nursery, where the being within could be nurtured to maturity. CJ did just that, and left the being within to be under the watchful gaze of the one who ran the Nursery, and for a long while, that was the last he saw of the egg that had rolled to his feet that day. He couldn't stop thinking about it, however, and that strange feeling he'd had pulling him to the egg haunted him ever since, so he returned to the Nursery a time later to see what had ever happened to it. Me-rie, the one who watched over & tended to the children of the clan in the Nursery, remembered the egg he'd brought to her and brought him over to where a group of older adolescents were playing & chatting together, upon his inquiry. Before she even pointed out which one was the hatchling, however, something in him instinctually just knew, and his eyes rested on a white & yellow Nocturne girl who was laughing with some of the other young adults. The Nocturne with him pointed her out then, and with her telling, it was a confirmation for him and he thanked her for showing him which one it was, happy to see the egg he'd brought had no turned into a thriving beauty. The Nocturne went on to explain how she'd taken her in under her wing a bit as the way she'd arrived to the clan meant that she didn't have her parents there, and so she became like a mother of sorts to her, and that she lived with her until she would, perhaps, go on to live with her future spouse. At the mention of that, something hit Cappie and something stirred within him, and then he knew.. He'd found his Charge, and would do anything it took to stay by the young one's side. He thanked the Nocturne again, and made to approach the other Nocturne with whom he'd been instrumental in bringing about the existence of. [ERROR 404: Cascade stopped writing\]
(something about how met Rockefeller, then met Lindt) Though he'll miss his days with Rockefeller, he's looking forward to getting to know Lindt. (include talking about puns of both names XD XP)
